PEGUS Research, Inc. (“PEGUS”, “we”, “our”) utilizes SMS (text) messaging to contact study participants in regard to their study appointments or participation. When you opt-in to SMS messaging, you may receive messages related to, but not limited to, the following:

• Automated notifications confirming an appointment you scheduled or rescheduled.
• Automated notifications reminding you of an upcoming appointment.
• Automated notifications providing you information about an upcoming appointment.
• Automated notifications related to your ongoing participation in a research study.
• Messages from research staff regarding your participation in a research study.
• Automated messages following participation in a research study to gather feedback about the study.

These messages will only be sent after you opt-in to receiving SMS messaging and will end shortly after your participation in the research study has concluded. Messages will always be sent from PEGUS or an authorized subcontractor. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting support using the details provided below.

PEGUS reserves the right to modify or amend these Messaging Terms and Conditions as needed. If we update these Messaging Terms and Conditions, we will update the “Effective Date” found at the top of this page to notify you of the date it was last updated.
