After completing scores of OTC consumer studies (including numerous label comprehension, self-selection and actual use projects) for sponsors over the last 21 years, he brings a strong orientation toward OTC-switch program strategy, regulatory agency interaction, study design, analytic issues and solid, practical, high-quality research. In a period of intensive growth and evolution at PEGUS, Clark directs the full range of operations across our functional areas.


Russ has 20+ years of research experience, spanning the spectrum from basic science to clinical trials. He continues to regularly care for hospitalized children. Russ returned to PEGUS Research in 2011 as part of the executive team, with specific responsibility over medical affairs and clinical data collection.


Prior to joining PEGUS in 1995, he served for many years in senior management positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida in patient research and operational management positions.

Dave earned his doctorate in clinical psychology and a master's degree in public health from the University of Utah, where he is a member of the adjunct faculty in the medical college’s Division of Family and Preventive Medicine. Dave has also been active in efforts by the industry association, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, in working with the FDA to further define and enhance the scientific development of consumer research.
He also served as an officer in the Army and Air Force Reserve, and is now in the retired reserve. Dave has been involved in research his whole career, and particularly enjoys the challenges of drug safety and OTC switch research. He is a member of the PEGUS Board of Directors.

Brent received his doctorate from the University of Utah in Applied Psychology (program evaluation and research design) and Organizational Behavior and presently holds and adjunct faculty position in the Departments of Psychology at the university and Family and Preventive Medicine in the medical college.










Outside of work, she enjoys lightsaber dueling with her husband and recently placed 4th in a Karate sparring tournament.





She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Behavior Science and Health.


During her academic journey, she co-designed and conducted a HF study that explored the impact of negative and positive emotions on drivers' attention allocation. This research provided valuable insights into user behavior and reinforced her passion for enhancing user experience through empirical investigation.
Prior to joining PEGUS, she spent six years applying her HF training in the Manufacturing Supply Chain sector, where she led numerous process improvement initiatives. Her commitment to excellence and efficiency is evidenced by her achievement of a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, earned through her leadership in a manufacturing waste reduction program.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, always seeking new experiences and adventures to share together.


Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Dixie State University. Her academic background combines a deep understanding of human behavior with strong clinical training.
Before PEGUS, Anna worked as a bedside nurse in a Level I Trauma Center and helped launch a hospital-at-home telehealth program for Utah’s largest healthcare system. In that role, she served as a remote acute care nurse and Certified Case Manager, gaining valuable experience in virtual care delivery, patient monitoring, and care coordination.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys reading, traveling, and listening to podcasts.

Outside of work, Lindsay has played on a roller derby team for 6 years in Salt Lake City. Lindsay brings excitement and enthusiasm to the team and is very detailed oriented with a willingness to learn.




Lauren has presented her work at various research and professional conferences. She has also published a paper in the U's undergraduate research journal, the RANGE. For these efforts, she was granted the Undergraduate Research Scholar Designation upon graduating.

In her current role as Director of Clinical Data Management, she uses her exceptional attention to detail to help develop and maintain databases to ensure data is as accurate and complete as possible.
Tera has been involved in a number of actual use trials, self-selection studies, and label comprehension studies in her time at PEGUS.
She is currently in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s of science degree in computer science.

Sydney is currently working on an Associate's degree at Salt Lake Community College.





Briannah has a BS in Economics and is a seasoned information science expert with an ability to design compliance driven frameworks and optimize data ecosystems. She has led enterprise data governance initiatives, including business glossary development and data lifecycle strategies grounded in DAMA-DMBOK and IGBOK principles.
She previously worked in museums where she preserved history through data. She became a guide in data governance through workflow redesign and stakeholder education in the transportation industry. She believes data is more than numbers, that it’s the foundation of every smart decision. Briannah’s main goal is to make sure data works for the people, not the other way around.


Lisa has lived in St. Petersburg, Russia, Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and Mammoth Lakes, California, and since September of 2020 she resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she hopes to stay for a long time. Over the past 20 years, Lisa has worked in many different industries and departments, such as accounting, front office, admin, HR, and management, to generate a complete understanding of the operations of any business. Her career goal is to continue to learn as much as possible and advance, with hopes to someday become a COO.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys living an active lifestyle, whether at the gym, hiking in the hills, snowboarding on the slopes, snorkeling in the sea, camping in the desert or traveling around the world. She enjoys the arts, and can often be found at the ballet, symphony, other music concerts, film festivals, or museums.



John earned a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, and has completed the course work for an MS in Educational Technology at Boise State University.
In his spare time, if he is not found with a keyboard or soldering iron in his hand, John enjoys spending his time with his wife and six kids.

Prior to joining our team, he was an IT technician for a local ski resort where he supported all of the property’s systems and infrastructure across the various departments. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding and hiking.
