(“PEGUS,” “we,” “us,” “our”) appreciates your interest in our website, www.PEGUS.com, however accessed (“Site”).  The privacy and security of your personal information is important to us.  We have adopted this website privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) to advise you of how we collect, use, and handle information collected as part of your use of the Site.  Generally, our Site is designed to provide access to online information about PEGUS and our services.  In connection with providing this information, there are times when we may ask for or collect information from or about you.  As part of our commitment to honoring your privacy, this Privacy Policy explains the approach we take in protecting and using the information that we gather from you through our Site.  By using our Site, you consent to and agree to the privacy practices set forth in this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use Site.

 

INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM AND ABOUT YOU

The information we collect from you varies, depending on the way you use our Site. It is possible you may browse our site without submitting personal information, but where we require that you provide us with your personal information, we will indicate what information is required in order to provide you with the product or service you have requested.   We collect several types of personal information from and about you when you use our Site, which may include your name, address, email address, and telephone number, when you request or request information about a product, service, or study.  We may also request information from you in order to learn more about and improve our products and services.

 

We collect personal information such as your name, address, e-mail, phone number, and demographic information when you apply for employment with us through this Site.  In addition, we may collect information relating to your education and employment history when you submit that information as part of an employment application.  Not all requested information is required, however, and we specifically indicate what information is required in order to submit your employment application.

 

OTHER INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Besides the information you choose to submit, our systems collect certain types of data automatically. This information gives us insight on how our Site is being used, as well as helps us understand how we may improve it in the future and does not necessarily individually identify you. HOW WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING

When you visit the Site, we ask your browser to store small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters known as a cookie.  We use both session cookies and persistent cookies.  If you have chosen to identify yourself on our Site, we use session cookies containing encrypted information to identify you and facilitate your use of the Site. Session cookies are required to access much of the content and services offered on the Site.  After you leave our Site and close your browser, a persistent cookie remains. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your Help File directions in your web browser.  If you refuse our cookies, some features of the Site may not function properly.

 

Web Beacons: We may employ clear GIFs or Web Beacons to track anonymously how users use the Site.  We may also use Web Beacons in our emails to track which emails are opened by recipients.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

 

Leaving Our site And/Or Linking To Third Parties

Because our Site is secure, your browser URL will inform you if you are leaving a secured portion of the Site.  When you leave this Site and go to another linked site, we are not responsible for the content or availability of the linked site. Please be advised that we do not represent either the third party or you, if you enter into a transaction on the third-party site. Further, the privacy and security policies of the linked site may differ from those practiced by us.

 

We provide links to social networking sites (“SNS”) (such as Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn) on our Site, and by clicking those links, you can follow us, receive additional information about us or otherwise interact with us on that SNS.  If you access an SNS through the Site, we may receive the personal information that you have provided (or will provide in the future) to that SNS.  By connecting to the SNS in this manner, you consent to our access to and use of this personal information.  We do not store your login information for any SNS.  As with any other third-party site, the SNS sites linked on our Site are not subject to our Privacy Policy.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We will take reasonable measures which we believe are appropriate to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction, and, where possible, will ask that any third parties to whom we may transfer your personal information take comparable steps to protect that security.  Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet or over mobile networks is not completely secure.  Although we will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of any user information collected, we shall have no liability for disclosure of any user information obtained due to errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.  Email is not a secure form of communication.  Please do not send us your credit card number, social security number or any other personal information via email.

 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OLD

This Site is not directed to or intended for use by children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.  To the extent any of our studies or services involve children under 13 years old, we conduct any such studies by contacting and communicating with the parents or legal guardian of such individuals and not with the child who is under 13 years old.

 

Control Over and Access to Your Information

We enable you to have control over the accuracy of your personal information. You can access, delete, correct, or change your personal information with us at any time by contacting us via a method described under “Contact Us” below.

 

Google Analytics

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site across devices.  We have implemented the Remarketing and AdWords features of Google Analytics.  The Remarketing feature allows us to serve you relevant advertising on third party websites if you have visited our Website, however accessed, but does not personally or directly identify you.  AdWords allows us to manage our advertising and collect information about your visit to our Website.  Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ad Settings [link www.google.com/settings]. Do Not Track

Third parties may collect information about you across different web sites, including our Site.  We do not currently utilize the capability to respond to web browser do not track signals or other mechanisms that provide you with the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of this information

PEGUS stores personal information in the United States.  If you provide us information, it will be transferred to, processed, and accessed in the United States.  This Privacy Policy shall apply even if we transfer personal information from non-United States countries to other countries.  You acknowledge and agree that it is necessary for PEGUS to transfer your personal data to the United States in order for us to provide our products and services to you and to communicate with you.

 

YOU ALSO CONSENT TO ANY AND ALL INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AND SUBMIT VIA THE SITE BEING SENT TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
